UNDERSTANDING BEHAVIOUR THAT CHALLENGES

COURSE OVERVIEW

This qualification is designed to increase learners’ awareness and understanding of behaviour that challenges and its effects. By completing the qualification learners will develop in-depth knowledge of behaviour that challenges, and understanding of how to support positive behaviour, the importance of effective communication in managing behaviour, and the role of reflection and support for those involved in incidents of behaviour that challenges.

 

This course is offered through the Opportunity Area and is available to all Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistants working in the Opportunity Area.

WHO IS IT FOR?

This course is aimed at Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistants who wish to develop an in-depth knowledge of behaviour that challenges. 

 

There are no prior learning requirements for this qualification.

learning methods

This 12 week course is studied via distance learning. You will receive course textbooks to support your learning and complete assessments online via our e-learning platform. You should be committed to completing a minimum of 6 hours of study per week.

 

On successful completion of the course, you will receive the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Behaviour that Challenges.
